Meeting of the Minister with the Executive Director of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)

Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, received today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the ministry headquarters, Mr. Sang-Hyup Kim, Executive Director of the Global Green Growth Institute.

The meeting discussed ways to cooperate on green technologies and solutions, as well as mobilizing investment financing to promote green startups and micro-enterprises in Algeria and Africa for sustainable development.

The two parties also explored ways to build cooperation bridges in innovation and support business incubators and accelerators in green technology, and to work together on establishing more enterprises, particularly in the sectors of renewable energy, water security, waste management, and the circular economy.
