Installation of the new members of the National Committee for the Label Award.
Mr. Nour Aldin Wadir, Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, presided over the installation of the new composition of the National Committee responsible for granting the labels “Innovative Project,” “Startup,” “Business Incubator,” and “Accelerator,” as part of the renewal of its membership.
This committee represents the backbone of the startup ecosystem in Algeria, as it examines all applications for the label across its four categories, in addition to evaluating launch needs, expansion requirements, and import programs.
During the ceremony, a new president of the committee was appointed, and several new members joined from different ministerial sectors as well as national experts.
This renewal comes within the framework of strengthening the effectiveness of the committee’s work and consolidating the principles of transparency and governance in the label granting process, ensuring an objective and accurate evaluation of projects and initiatives. It also aims to support the innovation ecosystem and encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and value-added projects, contributing to the promotion of economic development and the enhancement of the national economy’s competitiveness.
