Minister Noureddine Ouadah hosts African ambassadors in preparation for the African Startup Conference

On Sunday evening, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises organized an official dinner in honor of the ambassadors of African countries accredited to Algeria and representatives of international organizations, as part of the ongoing preparations for Algeria to host the fourth edition of the African Startup Conference (ASC2025).

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from state institutions, including the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of the Directorate General of Communication, an official from the Prime Minister's Office, and the Chief of Staff of the Secretary of State for the National Community Abroad, in addition to the ambassadors of African countries, the UN Resident Coordinator in Algeria, and several ministry officials.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening African cooperation in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, and promoting the upcoming conference, which will be held from December 6 to 8, 2025, at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers.

During the dinner, a detailed presentation was given outlining the themes and objectives of the conference, which will feature a rich program starting with the ministerial conference, in addition to a summit between decision-makers and leading African entrepreneurs, as well as a day dedicated to the African diaspora, organized in partnership with the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad. The conference will also include a number of side events in collaboration with several ministerial departments and international organizations.

The ASC2025 conference represents a significant continental event aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and empowering young people to launch innovative projects that strengthen the continent's position in the global economy.
