Yesterday, Mr. Noureddine Ouahed, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises, participated in a virtual meeting that brought together a select group of Algerian talent residing in Scandinavia. The meeting was organized by Mr. Sofiane Chaib, Secretary of State for the Algerian Community Abroad, with the participation of representatives from the Ministries of Post and Telecommunications, Industry, the AAPI Agency, and the Algerian embassies in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.


During the meeting, the Minister presented government policies to promote the knowledge economy and develop start-ups and small enterprises, as well as the mechanisms adopted to facilitate the contribution of Algerian talent abroad and engage them in innovation and entrepreneurship. He also reviewed incentive measures and support mechanisms for innovative projects.
The meeting witnessed interaction from members of the community, who presented their projects and shared their aspirations, affirming their willingness to contribute their expertise to efforts aimed at establishing the foundations of a new economy based on competencies and knowledge.
