The top five business incubators at the national level

As part of the periodic ranking of business incubators (public, private, and university-based) for the year 2025, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises organized a ceremony to honor the best business incubators at the national level on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters. Awards were presented to the top five winners, in the presence of the Minister of Knowledge Economy and Startups, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, and senior officials of the Ministry.

During his speech, Mr. Noureddine Wadhih emphasized that business incubators in Algeria have made significant progress in recent years, noting that improving their performance is one of the key pillars for building a world-class ecosystem, which today includes tens of thousands of startups and promising projects. The Ministry focuses on providing business incubators with adequate support and attention through:

National and international rankings: The national ranking of the best business incubators will take place every six months to encourage them and motivate their entry into global rankings.

Establishing a true market for business incubators within the national ecosystem: Particularly through the launch of the “Kick Start” program for 2026.

New fiscal incentives introduced by the 2026 Finance Law to support innovation.

The Minister also announced the creation of a national network of collective business incubators, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, calling for the active involvement of all stakeholders—private, public, and university incubators—to build a strong national ecosystem.

Finally, the top five business incubators were honored as follows:

1st place: Private incubator Leancubator

2nd place: Public incubator ANPT

3rd place: Private incubator INNOEST COMPANY

4th place: Private incubator IAMAL

5th place: University incubator of Abou Bakr Belkaid University of Tlemcen
