On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, received a delegation from the University of Naples “Parthenope” at the headquarters of the accelerator Algeria Venture. The delegation was led by Professor Antonio Garofalo, President of the University, and accompanied by H.E. Mr. Alberto Cutillo, the Italian Ambassador to Algeria.
This visit falls within the framework of Algerian-Italian cooperation on “Developing Entrepreneurial Skills in Algeria,” during which both parties discussed ways to enhance the capacities needed to establish innovative ecosystems, as well as to strengthen a joint approach in the field of micro-enterprises.
The visit program included presentations organized by officials from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, as well as professors from the Italian university. These presentations introduced the Italian delegation to Algeria’s startup ecosystem and to entrepreneurship promotion mechanisms, including ANGEM, NESDA, and the National Agency for Independent Entrepreneurs (ANAE).

This initiative represents an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
